My name is Stephanie Kaye (Tillery) Simmons. I am a member of the school of V.E.N.U.S. and I graduated into the sorority on March 22, 2008. My nickname is Calida which means warm. I am a kind and caring person and I would do anything for my sisters. I am always there to protect them and help them out. I am from Flora, IL and I am a 2009 graduate of Southern Illinois University Carbondale with a Bachelors of Science in English for Secondary Education. I am currently working on a second bachelors degree in elementary education. Some of my hobbies include scrapbooking, reading novels, watching movies, and being with my family and friends. I have three brothers and three sisters. I come from a large military family. I graduated from Olney Central College in May 2007 with my Associates in Arts and Science. While an active collegiate member I was Secretary of Beta chapter. I was also President, Secretary, and Treasurer of the Multicultural Greek Council. During the Spring semester 2009 I was awarded Greek of the Year and Miss Delta Phi Mu Beta Chapter. At the National Convention 2009 I was awarded the National Miss Delta Phi Mu Award and the Princessa Scholarship. I was awarded for our chapter Most organized sister, Most dedicated sister, and Outstanding officer award. After graduation, I served a short time as National Collegiate Director for Beta Chapter.
Currently I am married to a wonderful man whom I have been with for 8 years. We were married on 8/21/10. I am a substitute teacher in the Clay County school district in Illinois. I live with my husband in Farina, Illinois.
